Customer Chuck S. called our office requesting an inspection of his crawlspace. Our inspection noted issues regarding standing water on the old ground cover, missing and compromised insulation and duct wrap, and a sump pump installed in a bucket set on the ground.
Our recommendations included a proper sump pump set in a basket below grade as well as in interior drainage system to carry the ground water intrusion to the sump basket.
Also included our CleanSpace 20mil encapsulation system to lock out moisture and reduce humidity levels. This also allowed us to seal the foundation vents to eliminate outdoor air intrusion.
Customer was happy with results. Reported no more standing water in crawlspace, improved indoor air quality, and lower energy costs!
