Winter is Coming!

Here we go again!  After a very long and very dry summer and early fall, the winter rains have returned to the Pacific Northwest!  As a matter of fact I could hear it pounding on the roof all last night and into this morning.  One of the questions we ask our customers when we visit them for an inspection is do they want to keep their basement or crawlspace dry? Almost always the answer is yes,... of course. That begs the second question,.... Do you want us to keep your basement or crawlspace dry ALL the time? Why would someone want to be protected 80% of the time?  Or maybe 90%,.. or 95 ?  Most everyone understands if they are going to make the investment in keeping their home protected from ground water intrusion the system needs to work all the time.
