Annual Crawl Space Service
Our service department just inspected a crawlspace after recieving a call from a customer reporting water under their crawlspace liner. Our inspection determined that water was not only under the CleanSpace liner, but on it as well. We also determined that the GFI had tripped so there was no power to the pump or the dehumidifier. There was no way to determine how long this situation had existed because the customer had not had an annual service in 7 years. At the very least, replacing the battery in the WaterWatch alarm would have let this customer know there was an issue that needed to be dealt with.
